Clayton Public ArtClayton is quickly becoming known as an arts community with The Clayton Center being the town's shining jewel. Throughout the year, visitors enjoy national touring acts, local theatre groups and special events.

For outstanding recreational venues, Clemmons Education State Forest was the first managed forest in North Carolina, and the town's variety of outdoor venues include Legend Park, the Clayton Community Center, three golf courses, and hiking trails and canoeing along the Neuse River -- you will find plenty to do outdoors!  The new Clayton River Walk is now open and part of the Mountains to the Sea Trail which connects to Wake County.

Clayton is the center of activity for concerts, festivals, and recreation...only minutes from I-40, Exit 306.
